Izhar David was born and raised in Moshav Avital. Following his military service with the Israel Defense Forces, he joined the Israeli Security Agency where he acted as a Field and Operations Director, until his retirement in 2014. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration, Islam and Middle East Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Law and Administration and Leadership in Education. Today, he is a writer, entrepreneur, and leader in social and educational projects, a lecturer in the fields of security and society, the founder of a prominent NGO promoting youth leadership, diversity, and cooperation. He is also a high school teacher and an educator.
