Raffa Abu Tareef is a Druze who served in the IDF for 25 years. He has a Ph.D. in security studies.
Doctoral Candidate at the Ben-Gurion University in the Department of Middle East Studies, on the topic “Iran-Egypt Relations in the 20th Century”.
Master's degree in the studies in the Land of Israel - multi-departmental program on war and peace: political sciences, Middle East and Israel Studies, University of Haifa, Thesis on “Hamas, Hezbollah, the Islamic Movement, and the Balad Movement: Politics of Mutual Relations”.
Bachelor's degree in the studies on the Land of Israel and the People of Israel, University of Haifa.
