"Al Aqsa is in danger"- The Temple mount and the Palestinian terrorism
The lecture deals with the formation of Al Aqsa narrative as a Palestinian national narrative as well as a global Islamic narrative. It includes a review of the complexed situation in the Temple Mount, Al Aqsa Mosque and the holly places. In addition, it reviews some of the most famous terror attacks that were related to the Al Aqsa narrative over the years and especially at the last decade. The analysis is based on personal experience and includes a lot of operational insights, comparisons to similar attacks from all over the world, and a close look at the phenomena of lone wolf terrorism.
Radical Islam and the global terrorism- from the Muslim Brotherhood to ISIS
The lecture reviews the development of global radical Islam - from the Muslim brotherhood at the beginning of the 20th century, to modern radical Islamic organizations: Al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and others. It also combines academic knowledge with personal and operational experience and reviews the global phenomena of radical Islamic terrorism with a focus on the Israeli challenges.
The war against suicide terrorism
The lecture reviews the formulation of the strategy of suicide terrorism that carries out by Islamic terror organizations. It includes an analysis of the roots of the phenomena, the ideology behind it and the formation of it as a strategy. In addition, it overviews famous attacks by organizations like Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas and others and provides a deep review on suicide attacks in Israel between 1995-2005, especially in the second Intifada. It also deals with the experience of the security and intelligence forces in Israel and their response to suicide terrorism.
